SCOPE OF THE PROJECT
The tour of Donostia / San Sebastián is a circular route of 42 kilometers. The route follows the limits of the municipality and passes through terrain where hikers can enjoy the countryside, together with peri-urban natural spaces.
The map was made as a presentation for clients on the Upwork platform. In this example, a simple basemap has been used that includes major roads and buildings. The data of interest for hikers highlights the degree of the slopes along the route, one of the most important variables in assessing the difficulty within a trail. The map also provides common information such as profile, distance and orientation.
